| The Polished Presenter |

Educator…or Entertainer? Becoming a polished presenter goes well beyond a snappy workshop title and bio. Uncovering a unique niche and identifying your personal style, then using that knowledge to develop, deliver and improve presentations is essential. We’ll also talk about communicating with event organizers, creating a “personal brand” and community professionalism. After all, as volunteer presenters we may not be compensated (much) for what we do, but that’s no excuse not to be a professional!
Attendees who want to improve as a presenter and develop in the community will learn ways to think of themselves less as volunteer hobbyists and more as professional consultants, focused on meeting the needs of their “client” – the kink and leather community. This approach will enhance attendees’ ability to create and deliver new presentations, improve and market existing presentations and more professionally interact with group leadership and leather event organizers.
